Flaxseed meal egg replacement
Flaxseed can be used as a simple, cheap replacement for eggs in cakes and other baking dishes.
For this you need Flaxseed Meal and water. If you have whole Flaxseed (which keeps better), simply grind it in a blender prior to using.
Method
- In a bowl, whisk together 1 tablespoon of Flaxseed Meal with 3 tablespoons water.
- Allow to sit for 15 minutes.
1 tablespoon of Flaxseed substitutes for about 1 egg.
