Humans have both a rational and an emotional system in their brains
It’s well-known in psychology that our brains have two independent systems that are involved when making decisions.
- The emotional side, known as the Reactive system
- The rational side, known as the Reflective system.
These two systems have been compared to the elephant and the rider.
